Corn has exceptionally low system requirements! For many people it is the only emulator they can enjoy.
Important: Corn 0.3 was never intended for public release. It wasn't finished. As a result, it has numerous issues with hardware/software which are not properly understood. I have heard that it only works on Windows 98 with DirectX 7.0a, even then some people cannot get 0.3 to work. If you are one of the unlucky ones, you have no choice but to stick with v0.29. If you find a fix, or have any tips on getting .3 to work, don't hesitate to send them to me!
CPU
Corn is much faster if you disable sound, so even a Pentium 200Mhz or K6 class processor should be enough! For high resolutions with sound you will need something faster, perhaps a 400Mhz P2.
Video
Corn uses Direct3D so almost any 3d graphics card will work, even 3dfx Voodoo1 and Voodoo are supported! On slower hardware, keep to lower resolutions (e.g. 640x480) and always run fullscreen. Try the "high-end video card" option, you may not experience much slowdown.
Remember to install the latest drivers & DirectX!!
Audio
Corn's sound should work an any 16 bit sound card, but remember that enabling audio causes a big slowdown. Slower hardware will require more prebuffering.
Input
Corn supports gamepads via DirectInput, and up to 4 players, though the games themselves may not work.
