With the termination of the UltraHLE project in September 2000, and no release interim, v1.0.0 will likely be the first and last release of the world's most (in)famous N64 emulator.

There IS a beta of v2 in existence, though whether or not it is released remains to be seen... don't ask me about it, I don't have it and know nothing about it.
