Unofficial UltraHLE releases

There have been several unofficial (hacked) releases of UltraHLE, since the one official release in early 1999. Here are all those I know of - please contact me if you find others!

Simple hacks (1999-2001)

These are minor edits, with easy to understand effects, that appeared soon after the release of v1.0.0. You can download them all directly from this page. If anyone knows of any others that I'm missing, please let me know. AFAIK, these are all dead projects.

Adaptoid version
This version supports the Adaptoid (and Rumble Pack)

CD version
Can be run from a read only medium (er, why would you want that?!)

Dutch version
A simple translation of the GUI into Dutch.

Frantic242 version
Has the degugging console enabled, which is usefull for people trying to develop cheat codes and patches for the INI etc.

French version 1.49
All the text in the GUI has been translated into french, and a new shell is included to start the emulator. Weird, I don't like it, and that's not just because I'm not french...

Italian version
A simple translation of the GUI into Italian.

LAN version
Designed to allow multiplayer gaming over a local area network, I don't think it works though...

Rush version
This version fixes a specific glitch with 3dfx Voodoo Rush graphics cards, where the status bar flickers through through the game. I don't know if it works, I guess so!

Spanish version
A simple translation of the GUI into Spanish.

Swedish version
A simple translation of the GUI into Swedish.

z64 hack
This hack is by me :) Simply lets .z64 extension ROMs appear in the GUI and file open dialogue like any other.

Zelda version
This hack allows you to see the end of the game Legend Of Zelda, which crashes on the normal uHLE. Very nice.

What you are supposed to do if, say, you are a Voodoo Rush owner playing Zelda with an Adaptoid, I don't know! =]
